This compact embedded system is powered by the onboard Core™ i3-8145U, Core™ i5-8265U or Core™ i7-8565U, intel® Celeron 4205U processors (codename: Whiskey Lake-U). It provides high-performance, power-efficient, and abundant I/O interfaces in a compact device. The TBOX-28X5 is highly suitable for industrial applications with strict performance requirements such as industrial automation computers, in-cabinet equipment integration, collaborative robots, and more.

This fanless low-power embedded system can operate under wide temperatures ranging from -20°C to 70°C range; TBOX-28X5 is optional to support latest 5G technology. The TBOX-28X5 has one DDR4-1866/2133/2400 MHz SO-DIMM slot with up to 16GB of system memory. The Intel® Whisky Lake-U-based embedded system adopts versatile I/O interfaces including six RS232 (2 support RS-232/485 ports), two Gigabit LAN ports, four USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, 2 HDMI, and two antenna openings. For extra expansions, the fanless box PC supports one M.2 slot for Wi-Fi/BT module, 4G/5G module and one 2.5″ SATA SS drive bay for additional storage. It has 12V DC power input connector with over-voltage protection, over-current protection and polarity protection. Its flexible mounting options include wall mount and optional DIN-rail mount. For operating systems, it supports Windows® 10 and Linux.
