Panel mount is a most popular installation method in industrial applications. TAICENN deliver Panel mount industrial Panel PCs/Industrial monitor most to our customers. All our panel mount modular designed & manufactured Panel PCs/Monitors are securely mounted using a clamp for mount installation, which enables our front IP65 rated protection by utilizing rubber gaskets to seal the tiniest gaps between Panel PC and mounting surface. TAICENN provides a set of mount clips in our package list of reference models free of chargers.
Preparation and steps:
1- Check the Panel PCs data-sheet and confirm the right cut-out dimensions to suit a Panel mount Panel PC. It is very important! If the cut-out dimension is not precise, then you are likely to encounter issues later when installing the panel PC.
2- Now the cut out has been created, you are now in a position to insert the Panel PC through the cut out from the front side.
3- Before you are ready to apply the mounting clamp into its fixing. We suggest you to confirm no dimension issue after insert the panel PC into the cabinet. If the cut-out dimension is not precision, the Panel PC is not easy or impossible to insert into the enclosure; Or there will be a slight big gap. It will result in some questions, such as water-proof and dust-proof protection.
4- For this you will require a screwdriver for tightening. Get out the clamps from Panel PCs accessory box in the carton. Usually, we will suggest to use 8 clips for above 17.0” product, and 4 clips for smaller size product. You can also use 8 clips for all our sizes panel PC.
5- Hook the clamps into the Panel PC mounting holes, and turn the screw so that the head rests on the cut-out face. Then tighten and fix it properly.
6- We would also advise to tighten every clip in the traditional opposite tightening positional routine, to avoid unbalanced pressure on any particular area during installation causing distortion/damage of the chassis – for example using the order below.
